"Dear Great Gorilla Run Team,
I think a great big thank you is in order for the Gorilla Organization for organising such a fantastic, fun and worthwhile event, and to my family, friends and colleagues for all their sponsorship, support and advice!
Kitty Hallam, Great Gorilla Run Top Fundraiser 2012
“Thanks again for organising such a brilliant event and for the outstanding work you do with the gorillas. Keep it up and I will see you again next year"
Nikky Kimble, Great Gorilla Runner
We did it again!
In 2012 the Great Gorilla Run once again proved the exception to the rule, raising a great deal of funds despite the recession. With 350 participants including actor Adam Garcia, TV conservationist Bill Oddie, international synchronised swimming champion Adele Carlsen and Gorilla Organization trustees Paul Baldwin and Lord Spencer Phillips over £100,000 was raised.
This enables the Gorilla Organization to continue its groundbreaking community conservation, education and development projects in Africa, so a big gorilla thanks to everyone making it possible.
