Here's what our 2011 top fundraiser Kitty had to say about the event and winning the once in a life time opportunity to visit the gorillas in Uganda:
"Dear Great Gorilla Run Team!
Thank you so much. This is too exciting!
I used to watch all the David Attenborough documentaries as a child, thinking how amazing (and a little bit frightening) it would be to go traipsing through the jungle.
I never for one moment thought I would be doing the same one day.
I think a great big thank you is in order for the Gorilla Organization for organising such a fantastic, fun and worthwhile event, and to my family, friends and colleagues for all their sponsorship, support and advice!
- Kitty
PS. You announced the prize on the day of my 30th birthday! Best birthday present, EVER!"

And a special thanks to Barking Bateria for providing the motivational drumming on the day.
