Earlier this year, Gorilla Organization supporter Scott Henderson took part in the intimidating Tough Guy Challenge.

dsc_0035.jpgdsc_0050.jpgdsc_0036.jpgRivaling the US Navy S.E.A.L.S ‘Grinder’ assault course,  the Tough Guy Challenge puts an elite group of 4,000 participants through a grueling 8 mile course.

Participants struggled up muddy slopes, crawled through thick bogs, negotiated underwater tunnels and scaled cargo nets in the ultimate test of mental and physical strength.

Of the 4,000 people that took part only 2,880 were able to finish. 660 participants were treated for hypothermia.

Scott completed the course in an incredible 2 hours 35 minutes – a great accomplishment, which raised over £1,000 for The Gorilla Organization.

Thank you Scott from all at The Gorilla Organization for risking life and limb to raise funds and awareness for the few remaining gorillas.
