emmapeeping.jpgSix year old Emma Carney is on a mission to help save the world’s most endangered animals starting with mountain gorillas.

After receiving a book on mountain gorillas at Christmas from her Uncle Mike, Emma decided that they needed her help. With support from her uncle and her mum she now has a website dedicated to raising funds for some of the world’s most endangered animals.

Emma’s challenge is to learn 400 new words by the end of March. If you would like to sponsor her you can do so by going to her fundraising page.  With £90 already raised and a target of £500, Emma is proving to be a very successful fundraiser and a truly Great Gorilla.

The money that Emma raises  will be invested into the Gorilla Organization’s programme of conservation and community development projects.
