Thirty silent disco Great Gorillas turned out to support Great Gorilla Runner Martin Payne last night, who was participating in Anthony Gormley’s 4th Plinth project.
Dancing for the full hour in Trafalgar Square, the Great Gorillas attracted quite a crowd including photographers and revellers who joined in with the randomness.
Raising the profile of the Great Gorilla Run and the Gorilla Organization’s conservation programme, Gorilla Martin and his fellow Great Gorillas did an incredible job and created quite a stir among the crowd. The bizarre mix of of music, dance moves and gorilla outfits divided the crowd on whether to get involved or stay back.
